介词of+宾格人称代词不能表示所属关系。例如，This is his bike. 不能说 This is the bike of him. It's my house.不能说成 It's the house of me. 同理，her painting 不能说成the painting of her, 所以在定语从句中，只能说whose painting, 不能说the painting of whom 或者 of whom the painting.
