1. 从有争议到无争议

惊闻2025年新课标I卷D篇35题答案有争议答案有争议，于是赶紧做了一遍题，相关部分如下：

The new study suggests boiling tap water could be a tool to limit intake. “The way they demonstrated how microplastics were trapped through the boiling process was nice,” Caroline Gauchotte-Lindsay, an environmental engineer of the University of Glasgow in Scotland who was not involved in the research, tells New Scientist. “We should be looking into upgrading drinking water treatment plants so they remove microplastics.”

What is Gauchotte-Lindsay’s suggestion about?

A. Choice of new research methods.B. Possible direction for further study.

C. Need to involve more researchers.D. Potential application of the findings.

这部分内容是在对煮沸自来水作出正面评价，Caroline Gauchotte-Lindsay所说的前后两句话在没有显性连词的情况下，可以默认是顺承关系。从肯定研究结果到研究结果的应用，自然而然。

而到写下本文时，当初选B的知名机构已经将答案改为D，至此答案D已经一统江湖，似乎不存在太大的争议了。

2. 从无争议到有争议

然而，纠结的种子一经种下，便很难消除。

2.1 真正题源

先说一下题源。有人说题源是New Scientist的文章，为了避免逻辑歧义，删减了部分内容。

其实题源不是New Scientist，而可能是：

2.2 Caroline的本意

从New Scientist上的文章，我们更能看出Caroline的本意。

这里的However说明Caroline还是持有一些不同的观点，她主张从源头上解决微塑料的问题——毕竟水送到千家万户后再解决问题，有些治标不治本。

2.3 常识或是专业知识？

水处理厂处理微塑料的方法，与小户人家处理微塑料的方法，不一样吗？恐怕不一样。

我们平常用的自来水是怎么来的？原水→静置沉淀→加絮凝剂→沉淀→过滤→吸附→消毒（大都采用氯化法）→生活用水。

New Scientist上的文章提到：Allowing the water to reach boiling point was an important contributing factor to how efficiently those crystalline structures were created.。可是想象一下，水处理厂会借鉴这个研究发现煮沸自来水吗？如果煮沸再冷却，到我们家里的时候，那就是凉白开了！

3. 有争议还是无争议？ 

虽然不知道什么时候能够收到回复邮件，我还是相信说这话的Caroline Gauchotte-Lindsay教授并不是在建议把这种方法应用到水处理厂，而是多关注改造水处理厂，从一开始就移除微塑料。

后记

后来收到了Caroline Gauchotte-Lindsay教授本人的回复。她并不建议在饮用水处理厂煮水。她觉得四个选项都不是本意，只是相对而言B更为接近。
