这也应该属于平行原则。例如 Seeing is believing. To see is to believe. 这二句都是正确的。但Seeing is to believe. 或者 To see is believing. 都是错误的句子。你的句子中虽然to resist不是主语，而是主语的定语，但其表示的时间意义和表语不定式是一致的。所以应该采用相同的非谓语形式。
