独立主格（There being nothing to do）
nothing to do中to do是不定式作定语修饰nothing，所以这个结构只是一个不定代词，而不定代词是不能作状语的。there being nothing to do中，there为being形式上的逻辑主语，与being构成独立主格结构，noting to do为being的真正逻辑主语。独立主格结构其实就是分词作状语时带有自己的逻辑主语而已。
