for sb to do sth中的for本身就是介词,只不过重新分析为引出不定式的逻辑主语的引导词。所以不再按照介词短语分析。例如:I'm waiting for Tom. for Tom为介词短语作目的状语。I‘m waiting for Tom to come. for Tom to come为不定式复合结构作目的状语。而不再是介词短语作目的状语。
