make a request 与 a request propose 等
propose除了作“求婚”解外，都是及物动词。因此不能用propose（提议）替换make a request.set an example: 做榜样，树立榜样。这是习惯说法。原翻译挺好的，为什么要换成其它词呢？动词和名词有搭配关系。你可以买一本英语搭配词典，汉译英的时候可以参考使用。
