以上摘自2023年高考英语新全国卷2的语法填空。

有人将句中的 give interviews 翻译成“接受采访”。但为什么用动词 give 而不用 get 呢？这是固定搭配吗？我原来的理解是：give表示“给”，get 表示“接受”。所以我的理解是：

get interviews = 接受采访（被别人采访）

give interviews = 进行采访（采访别人）

综观网友最近几问，问题并非出在对于词语的理解出错，而是忽略了词语所处的语境，导致出现了类似“张冠李戴”般的错误。

Interview用于职场，作为“面试”之类的含义用的话：

give interviews 就是面试应聘者的意思，give的主语（动作的发出者）去面试别人，而不是被别人面试；同理：

get interviews 就是获得面试机会的意思，是get的主语（动作的发出者）被别人面试 ==>

I got an interview with the director 就是我被主管面试，是主管面试的我，而不是我去面试主管。

Interview如果用于新闻报道，常作“采访”理解，那么：

give interviews 因为give就是“给予”的意思，所以A gave an interview with the reporter 实际含义就是A“给了”这个记者采访自己的机会/权利。所以它用于新闻报道这个语境/领域，才是接受别人采访的含义。

所以，字、词、句究竟是什么意思，要看它所处的语境，不可混为一谈。

【2】to give interviews =to be interviewed by others【接受采访(自己被别人采访)】

【1】give an interview to+名词(sb/sth) 表示“接见某人”或者“接受某人/某机构的采访”

备注:give(给予/提供)+an interview(一个访谈/采访)+to sb/sth(给某人/某物)=接受某人采访。

The president will give an interview to a reporter tomorrow.总统明天要接见一位记者。

The mayor agreed to give an interview to reporters.市长同意接受记者采访。

The manager gave an interview to the local paper. 经理接受了当地一家报纸的采访。
