I can do nothing but wait.如何分析句子成分

I can do nothing but wait.

我理解主语是i，do为谓语动词，但是我不理解为什么wait是宾语，我的理解是 noting是宾语 but wait是宾补。

还有You can find me in the office.

I’ll keep the words in my mind．

这两句的in和之后的部分是宾补还是做状语

第一句but是连词，传统语法认为是介词，不妥当，后面的是宾补。

改用waiting就是宾语，也是对的。
