remains 是谓语动词，不是名词。我理解of tomato cells 是what的定语。也可以把of 理解为from, 因为英语也经常说what remains from... This is 应该指tiny particles. 也可以说these are what remain of... 但口语表达时，人们更多习惯了用this is.这样就随口说出来。
