From...on这类状语的确表示从某个时间点开始所形成的一种状态或习惯。这一状态或习惯显然具有持续性。但这并不意味着from...on不能与短暂性动词连用。比如说，from  I began / decided to...这样搭配的句式完全没有问题。例如：
