原句：Baits can be used to attract and concentrate foragers. This often increases the number of individuals collected and attract species that are otherwise elusive. Sugars and meats or oils will attract different species and a range should be utilized.

问题：在这里 range，我觉得是表示一系列诱饵 a range (of baits)。但是又单独出现在文章里面。如果没有 of 词组的话，能不能看做集合名词具有指代性质的一种用法？
