until后是否省略了it is。it表示时间 until it is just before sundown...

句子并非省略了 it is。按你的方式加上 it is 句子反而有问题了。

unitl 后可以接介词短语的。如：

I'll wait until after 6 o'clock.

I stayed there until after sundown.

He was absent until just before the party.

这些句子均不能添加 it is。
