6 as从句的疑问

（1）This is one the most famous tourist sights in my hometown, the Porcelain House, or, as how we call it, the China House.

请问这里的as how we call it应该怎么理解呢？对不对呢？how应该是不能引导名词性关系分句的，所以as应该不能理解as为like然后后面是个名词性成分吧？

（2）as we call it应该和as we know it类似，Life as we know it needs water and oxygen.我记得曹老师说这个句子是缺补语的，假设可以理解为we know life to need water and oxygen.但是这种The current ton of action as we call it in two distinct places has a very clear reference to the fact that Iranian enrichment program will continue and will be a part of any agreement, now and in the future.里的as we call it.这种是我们理论上知道缺成分，而无法补全吗？我看词典里call没有know内种用法，call sth to do意思就变了。

（3）再就是as we know it, as we call it这种句子以及他们的被动式，我看很多句子里给他们用逗号隔开，像状语似的，这又是怎么回事呢？

1. 你的第一句as how we call it中的how,我感觉是多余的，应该去掉。

2. as we call it, （和as we know it 的用法是相似的），基本意思是：正如我们这样称呼它。比较常见的用法是放在它修饰的部分后面，可以看作一种修饰语或在有逗号的情况下理解为插入成分。

Life as we know it needs water and oxygen. 这里的Life as we know it，意思指，我们现在所熟悉，所知道的生命，相当于The life （that) we now know。这里的it,实际指life, 这种用法有些词典列为惯用法，如the free dictionary, 麦克米伦词典等。as we call it的用法同理，还可以使用其他动词替换。请看几个外刊例句：
