2 关于delighted、comparing的句子疑惑

向尊敬的曹老师请教！

1. For me, it is much delighted to see that the public are more likely to lend a hand to others voluntarily.

主句的主语为to do不定式复合结构，for me是不定式的逻辑主语; 等于It is much delighted for me to see that the public are more likely to lend a hand to others voluntarily.

问题：delighted和careless、kind、generous、stupid、clever、foolish、considerate、thoughtful等是描述人的特征的形容词，主语通常是表示人的名词；不是应该用of来引出主语吗？（It be + 形容词 + of sb），这里为什么用了for?

2. So comparing with their colleagues who content themselves with the skills they already have , they are more likely to climb up the ladder quicker.

问题：这里的comparing我感觉用的不对，应该改成compared; 因为逻辑主语they和和compared之间是被动和完成的关系；请教曹老师，这样对吗？

1 这个句子是错句。网上搜索得知这是英语六级考试的作文范文。be delighted的主语只能是人或有情感的高级动物，不能是不定式。句子应改为 I was delighted to see ...。

2 compare可以是不及物动词，与介词to或with搭配，意为与...形成对比。comparing to something/somebody常用在句首作状语，表示主语和某人或某事物形成鲜明对比。你这个句子用comparing是可以的。当然用compared也可以，意为与...相比较。
