请问老师下句中：

EA is about the person feeling connected to events and being able to appreciate the value within the connection.

这里connected to events是什么作什么成份，是过去分词短语作feel的宾语吗？但分词不能作宾语啊

或者说：I feel connected to the event. 这里 connected to the event怎样理解其成份呢？

feel此时为系动词（类似于系动词be），connected为形容词，表示“相关的，有关系的”，be connected with something表示“与……相关”。

the person feeling connected ... and being able ...构成动名词复合结构，作介词about的宾语。

connected to ... 是“形容词+介词 ...... ”，意思是“与 ......有关的 ”，用于系动词be 或feel后面作表语。
