现在分词属于非谓语动词一种，后面接that宾语从句，为了区分现在分词和宾语从句关系，在正式英语中，连词that通常不省略。

【1】He wrote me a letter，telling me that he would come here.

【2】Not realizing that he was in great danger，Eric walked deeper into the forest.

【3】Knowing that his mother would come to see him ，the boy jumped up with joy.
