解答：在英语口语或书面语中，have通常和不定冠词a/an一起使用然后再和很多名词连用以代替某个具体的动词，描述某一动作或事件。通常不使用定冠词the

Come and have a meal with us tonight.今晚来和我们一起吃饭吧。

We will be having a meeting to decide what to do.我们准备开个会来决定怎么办。

I went out and had a walk around.我出去在周围散了一会儿步。

I had a swim to cool down.我游了泳，凉快凉快。

备注：have a/an+形容词+chance of doing sth 有一个....做某事的机会，通常使用不定冠词a/an表示泛指，不使用定冠词the表示特指。

Do you think they have a chance of beating Australia? 你认为他们有可能击败澳大利亚吗？

May I have a chance of chatting with you? 我可以跟你聊一会儿吗 ?

没有那么多理论分析的，就好像我们中文饮料用“喝”不用“吃”一样，你不能纠结为什么不用“吞”、不用“灌”、不用“填”一样。have/stand a chance of something 是种collocation。如果你把动词have/stand换成increase，improve，reduce等等，那么chance前面的a就要改成the；如果动词替换成ruin或者jeopardize，那么chance前面既不用the，也不用a，而多用 any。
