两个并列的of结构之间不需要加and吗

例如这个句子：

应该下面的句子才对吧：

It is the same old story of not being grateful for what we have until we lose it and of not being conscious of health until we are ill.

二个of介词短语并不是并列关系，而是补充关系，即第二个of介词短语是对第一个of介词短语的补充说明，所以不用and.
