宾语与主语为同一人为什么不用反身代词

可以请问一下吗？

He hurriedly hid the ice cream behind him.

him 为什么不用 himself 呢？

hit的宾语是ice cream, 并不是主语自己。behind和hit这个动作无关，而只是表示icecream的位置。所以用反身代词为错误。

He looked at himself in the mirror. look不及物，介词at表示看的目标。动作的目标是主语自己，所以要用反身代词，不能用人称代词。

He did it by himself.

He worked for himself.

He said to himself.

介词短语作状语时，如果介词的宾语是主语自己，才用反身代词。介词短语作定语是不用反身代词的。

He (主语）//hurriedly（方式状语）// hid（谓语动词）// the ice cream （宾语）//behind him（地点状语）.

他匆忙把冰激凌藏在他身后。

(1)hid动作发出者是主语he

(2)hid动作承受者是ice cream

只有主语和宾语属于同一个人的时候，宾语才能使用反身代词。

He can take good care of himself.

He taught himself English.

Mary likes looking at herself in the mirror.

She often says to herself.
