remind这个动词的语义是使宾语想起（remember）something。这个something可以是以前发生过的事情，或宾语认识的一个人，或宾语将来需要做的事情。因此其意义和用法分为两种。请看《朗文词典》和《麦克米伦词典》的解释和用法示例：
