比较对象的一致性问题

下面的句子对吗？我觉得有问题，因为前后面的比较对象不一致：

This visit is very different from / to last time. 这次的访问与上次大不一样。

在这个句子中，this visit 与 last time 不能相比较吧！我觉得应该是将“这次访问”与“上次访问”作比较，而不是将“这次访问”与“上次”作比较。是这样吗？

有时候前面暗含有与 than 之后同类的成分时，在 than 之后可以用相应的成分来与之比较。如：

Rice yields will be higher than last year. 稻产量将高于去年。

= Rice yields will be higher this year than last year.

It's quicker to fly there than by train. 飞到那里比坐火车要快一些。

= It's quicker to go there by plane than by train.

He looks much younger and handsomer than in the countryside. 他看上去要比在农村时年轻漂亮得多。

= He looks much younger and handsomer in the city than in the countryside.
