他打算当医生。

误：He aims becoming a doctor.

正：He aims to become a doctor.

正：He aims at becoming a doctor.

析：表示打算或计划要做某事, 可用 aim to do sth(主要用于美国英语中)或 aim at doing sth(主要用于英国英语中)，但是动词 aim 后通常不能直接跟动名词。

【1】主语+aim at sth/doing sth结构（aim为不及物动词）

A:aim at +名词(sth)

Businesses will have to aim at long-term growth. 

企业必须以长期增长为目标。

When shooting an arrow, one must aim at the target. 

射箭要对准靶.

B:aim at+动名词(doing)

The factory must aim at increasing production. 

工厂应该以增加生产为目的.

We aim at doubling our production. 

我们的目标是将生产增加一倍.

【2】主语+be aimed at sth/doing sth(aim为及物动词)

A:be aimed at +名词(sth)

His message was aimed at the undecided middle ground of Israeli politics.

他所传达的信息针对的是以色列政局中尚未表态的中间派。

Advertising (which was)  aimed at children should be curbed. 

针对儿童的广告应受到限制。

B:be aimed at +动名词（doing）
