蒋老师疏忽了。trust在本句为名词,to build enough turst. that在本句引导目的状语从句。so that和that都可以引导目的状语从句,单独that引导目的状语从句属于正式语体。加上so, so that为日常用法。

put the book on the desk 和 arrange the meeting for Wednesday. 是同样的结构。只不过前者是把宾语放在空间上的一个位置,后者是把宾语放在时间上的一个位置。介词短语要么都分析为与宾语有关的状语,要么都分析为宾补。既然我们把on the desk分析为地点状语,为什么for Wednesday就不是时间状语而是宾补呢?想一想吧。
