关于go to后面宾语的请教

请问在人教版八上课本中，几组短语 go to the mountains/ go to the beach /go to summer camp，为什么

1.mountains是复数前面还加the？

2.没有特指哪座海滩，beach前面加定冠词the？

3.summer camp前面不用冠词？

go to the mountains 去山区（表示“山区”用the mountains ）/ go to the beach 去海滨（习惯要用 the）/go to summer camp参加夏令营（此处 camp用作不可数名词）
