1 as在此为介词，意为作为...。介词短语为方式状语。possessed of...为形容词短语，在who引导的定语从句中作伴随状语。

2 being done如果是现在分词被动语态，则being是不可以省略的。而系表结构的being通常省略，以免和现在分词被动语态混淆。His house being repaired，he has to stay in a hotel. 这个句子中的being就不可以省略。
