请问老师，2000-2005是过去的时间，这句话的时态用现在完成时还是过去时呢？

这说明这句话是2005年写或说的。再比如，你应该知道: In the past five years,可以和现在完成时连用，为什么？因为是从现在向后倒退五年，也就是从过去的一个点一直到现在，所以用了现在完成时。

应该用一般过去时。

如果没有Between 2000 and 2005 则可以用现在完成时。

These years have witnessed a growing social mobility. 这些年来人们的社会流动性越来越大。

Recent years have witnessed the collapse of the steel industry. 近几年钢铁产业崩溃了。

The past few years have witnessed momentous changes in the world. 过去的几年中，世界发生了巨大变化。
