分词作结果状语有对应的结果状语从句吗

薄冰语法中说,分词作结果状语没有相当的状语从句替代,请问为什么?

Jane fell off the bike, cutting her leg. 薄冰语法中的例句

She fell off the bike so that she cut her leg. 我把它改造成结果状语从句,这样不对吗?

【1】Jane fell off the bike, cutting her leg. 【better】【简单句+现在分词】

备注:现在分词作结果状语,表示由于谓语动词动作发生的原因,现在分词动作发生是意料之中的动作。

【2】She fell off the bike so that she cut her leg.【good】【so that引导状语状语从句】

【3】She fell off the bike and she cut her leg.【better】【and连接并列句】

“so that 引导目的状语从句” ,“so that引导结果状语从句”,“so+adj./adv.+that结果状语从句”

【一】“so that”引导结果状语从句“因此/所以”

Nothing more was heard of him, so that people though that he was dead.

未再听到他的消息,以致于人们认为他已死去。

备注:so that引导结果状语从句,主句含有某种原因导致从句主语有某种观点和看法。

【二】“so that”引导目的状语从句“为了/以便于”

We left early so that we could catch the first bus.我们出发很早以便于能赶上第一趟公共汽车。

【三】be+形容词(adj.)/副词(adv.)+that 引导结果状语从句

【1】so+ adj.(形容词)+that 引导结果状语从句

She became so nervous that she shook violently.她太紧张了,浑身抖得厉害。

He is so tired that he can't walk any further.他非常疲劳,走不动了。

【2】so+ adv.(形容词)+that 引导结果状语从句

Bill worked so hard that he was promoted.比尔工作很努力,结果他被升职。
