the same as 后是否该有代词

老师好！

先看两个句子：

The milk cartons are the same as in Japan.

Then read the passage to find out if your answers are the same as in the passage.

这里面as后没有those，但我想这两句话没问题。为什么这句：

Is the weather in China the same ______ in Brazil?

A. from one B. as C. as that D. like this

选B是错误的

网上的例句：

...and the price of robots in the U.S. is pretty much the same as in China and Mexico.

Business life in Shanghai is the same as in London.

这其实是如何分析句子结构的问题。当介词短语in+地点位于主句主语和谓语动词之间时，如果把介词短语分析为定语，则比较分句就需要替代词that+in+地点名词在比较分句中作主语。如果把主句中的in介词短语分析为地点状语，则比较分句可以省略主语和系词，只保留从句的地点状语。
