Her face is tinted a shade of metallic gold that shines as if gilded.

1）定语从句that shines as if gilded中包含了as if glided = as if + adj - 这里怎么分析理解呢？为什么as if 可以直接接形容词呢？

The meat is tinted a deep gold as the marinade that clings to the surface is cooked.

2）这里的as从句中的is cooked动作和主句中的is tinted应该是同时发生的，所以= while=when吧？

Sunlight is tinted blue passing through stained glass windows.

3）这里的passing through是Sunlight的现在分词定语呢，还是分析为is tinted谓语动词的伴随状语？感觉二者都可以。

1 as if 中的if 就是引导条件状语从句的连词if，所以像if从句一样，as if也可以省略与主句相同的主语和be，as if gilded = as if it were gilded.

2 你最好不要改动原句，你就理解as表示主句和从句的动作同时发生。不要替换。每次都根据上下文准确理解句意。久而久之，你就会明白的。

3 现在分词短语理解为状语为宜。因为现在分词作定语较少用分隔式定语。这个句子passing分词短语作时间状语。
