原翻译基本正确。不能说百分之百准确，起码达到了95% 以上。网友的翻译有误。
find 的主语是 I，而 sense 按动词去理解，其逻辑主语是我教的那些学生，即：a vivid, pressing sense 是指学生的感觉，不是我的感觉。of how much they need the skill they didn’t acquire earlier in life 是 sense 的定语，表示同位关系。可以用 “即” 来翻译这种感觉。how much they need the skill they didn’t acquire earlier in life 为名词性感叹分句。
原翻译的主要缺陷在于，没有把 vivid 和 pressing 翻译出来。应该译为“一种强烈而迫切的感觉”或“强烈而迫切地感觉到”。
