2 关于介词of

我看一篇文章中写“用不同颜色的热胶做更多这样的东西”是写成 Make more of those using different colors of hot glue。

我查字典中介词of可表达事物的特性特征，例句有 she has the face of an Angel。所以我觉得与此类似，“不同颜色的热胶”应当写成…using hot glue of different colors才合适。

请教老师，我这样写法是否正确？

二种表达都是可以的。就如同你可以说，this kind of perple, 也可以说 people of this kind.
