I was invited indoors, seated at the breakfast table with the family and given a delicious breakfast , as much as I could eat.

问：as much as I could eat.这整个是一个短语用逗号隔开作方式状语吗？还是一个什么从句，其中as I could eat.是不是一个定语从句先行词为代词much？as....as...又可以作为一个短语“和...一样......”,请问老师应怎么认识分析这个状语部分？

最简单的理解是： as much as I could eat 作 breakfast 的定语。等于：which was as much as I could eat. 意思是：提供的早餐味美量足。
