介词for和of使用辨析？

VOA 《Americans May Get First Vaccines This weekend》

On Thursday the US food and drug administration's advisory committee,

endorsed emergency use authorization for the Pfizer

Biotech Covid 19 vaccine, after hearing a wide range of concerns.

为什么不是authorization of the Pfizer...这里使用介词for是关于的意思吗？如果是这样，是否等同于about呢？

我觉得使用介词of也可以。麻烦老师讲解一下，谢谢！

of表示动宾关系。但“授权”的宾语是use, 不是疫苗。所以用for表示授权的受益者。
