关于IF 引导的条件状语从句的题

If not treated with the respect he feels due to him, Jack gets very ill-tempered and grumbles all the time.

请教下老师，为什么这里不用be treated, 不应该是被对待吗？

这里不能用 if not be treated，但可以用 if he is not treated with...

即当if引导的条件状语从句的主语与主句主语相同，但从句主语后面跟有动词be时，可以省略主语和动词be。又如：

If not cleaned, the clock will stop running.

=If it is not cleaned, the clock will stop running.
