比如例句：To realize how great was the dramatic activity, we must remember further that hosts of plays have been lost. 这里为什么不是how great the dramatic activity was，而是how形容词+谓语+主语？

徐广联的《大学英语语法》的倒装一章有讲到感叹句的倒装：主语较长（尤其主语有修饰成分，比如介词短语和定语从句时）时，感叹句常用倒装。

不过你这句好像也没多长。

错误的语序。改为：

To realize how great the dramatic activity was, we must remember further that hosts of plays have been lost.
