Among college students, the influence of western lifestyle is especially strong--the young are either not interested or even have no timeto care for our own culture, let alone the language.

该句至少有三处错误。

1 红色部分为对前面部分的补充，该句的话题是college students，用the young替代大学生是错误的。the young=the young people, 指所有年轻人，而不仅仅是大学生。应该用人称代词they指代大学生。

2 be not interested in sth 和 have no time to do sth不是对等的结构，不宜用either...or...连接。

3 作者本想让be not interested 和 have no time共用不定式to care for...。但实际上，to care for接在二个谓语后都是错误的。
