Can you hold my bag while I try on this jacket?

注意两点：

主从句都是指“将来”动作。while 里面的动作现在未发生。

主从句两个谓语动词都是“延续性动词”时，while 从句的动词用一般体，可以表示两个动作在同时进行。（这是关键原因）

例如：

They bandied the ball from player to player while they waited the game to start. 

在等比赛开始的时候，他们把球在队员之间来回传递。

I sat on the settee to unwrap the package while he stood by 

我坐在长椅上打开包裹时他就站在旁边。
