除了用 whose，也可以用 of which 或 that ... of （不太正式）来指代事物，有时    人们也更喜欢用这两种说法。最常用的词序是名词+ of which 或 that ... of ，但

   是也可以用 of which ... +  名词。试比较用来表达同一个意思的下述四种说法。

    He's written a book whose name I've forgotten. 

    He's written a book the name of which I've forgotten. 

    He's written a book that I've forgotten the name of. 

    He's written a book of which I've forgotten the name. 

 表示“某人的 ...”，通常不用 名词+ of whom 。

    a man whose name I've forgotten 一个我已忘记名字的人

   （不能说：a man of whom I've fogotten the name）
