老师我是在看了您多篇解答后来向您咨询的：

首先关于与of连用，到底of引导的是后置定语 还是 of后的名词才是中心词，我这边简单总结了一下，也希望老师得到老师您的回复。

of表示所属关系，部分与整体的关系为后置定语：

a book of my friend.   The door of the house; 

three of them;  none of them;   some of them  few of them, etc.

of 表示同位关系， 为后置定语：

a density of 2 pounds; 密度为….  a proportion of…..比例为；    an average of….平均为；   a total of….总数为，etc.

The city of Beijing.；The port of Dalian; the year of 2019, the month of may

of表示动宾关系，为后置定语：

a waste of money:  浪费….   a lack of….缺乏   the use of nuclear energy 利用核能

of表示描述关系，为后置定语：

表示人或者事物的特征 

a woman of my word;     a story of adventure (关于)   a manual of English composition 英语作文手册

表示由….组成的，为后置定语

 a table of wood ；a wall of glass ； A family of three， etc.

数量+量词（单位词）+of+名词的词组中，语义中心在后面做前置限定词：

 a kind of   a cup of ; a glass of  a sort of， etc;

several cups of  milk

老师这里想问的是如果换成序数词，是否还是做前置修饰成分？

the first batch of students,  the second batch of sugar.

Of前是不定量的词,做前置限定词： a lot of  a great amount of plenty of   hundreds of   a sum of;

请老师查看以上理解是否有误.

另外老师下面的几种特殊的情况学生这边有点不是特别清楚：

第一个就是前文提到的

如表达第一批学生；  第几批.....:  The first batch of students； 如果按照语义来说 中心词是否是 students? 是否是the first batch of做前置修饰成分?

关于 more of sth 是看作前置修饰成分还是of做后置定语呢? 如:

Don't waste more of my time. 语义上谁是中心词呢？

I want more of that milk. 意为我想要更多的那种牛奶，那在语义上that milk是做后置定语么？  

More of us will go to school.  这里可以理解为我们中的更多人，感觉又是整体与部分的关系.

He has much(more) of control 他有很强的控制力。much of control在语法结构上，much为不定代词，介词短语of control为后置定语。但在意义上，much of修饰control:很多的控制力。Much of/more of 可以看作前置形容词。是否理解正确？

It is much of an honor. 这这个句子中 much of a 表示程度，语义上 much of a 修饰honor, 是否可以看作前置定语呢？
