with the phone line for the modem stapled along the floor to the nearest phone jack.为with复合结构作伴随状语。其中stapled...jack为with的宾补。

with复合结构可以做状语，与独立主格结构作状语作用相似，但不能说with复合结构是独立主格结构。因为不存在主格的问题。
