把一个做间接宾语的名词从句移到直接宾语后面时产生的问题
They gave who came to the meeting a pamphelt.
上句的间接宾语 who came to the meeting 可以放在直接宾语 a pamphelt 的后面吗？
如果可以，那可以写成 They gave a pamphelt to 【who】 came to the meeting 吗？
此时 who 是后面名词性从句的主语，所以用 who 而不用 whom；但可又是 to 后面的宾语，所以应该用 whom 而不用 who, 所以是应该选择用 who 还是用 whom？

They gave who came to the meeting a pamphelt.
问题不在这里。这实际是一个错误的句子，who 不能既充当宾语，又充当主语，应改为 whoever（whoever = anyone who）；或者改为含有先行词的定语从句。 who came to the meeting 即是定语从句，但缺少先行词。应改为：
1. They gave whoever came to the meeting a pamphlet.
2. They gave a pamphlet to whoever came to the meeting.
3. They gave a pamphlet to anyone who came to the meeting.
4. They gave a pamphlet to those who came to the meeting.
