动词 walk 宜用 walking。即：

The baby can’t even sit up yet, let alone walk! 这个婴儿连坐都坐不稳，更不用说走路了。

let alone为习语，意为“更别提”“更不用说”。如：

He hasn’t enough money for food, let alone amusements. 他连吃饭钱都不够，就更不用说有钱玩了。

Her income was barely enough to maintain one child, let alone three. 她的收入养活一个孩子都几乎不够，更不用说三个了。

I can’t afford a nice apartment, let alone a house! 我连一套像样的公寓都住不起，更甭说一座房子了。

其后若接动词，通常使用与前面动词相同（平行）的形式（因为这样用的 let alone 通常被视为连词）。如：

Billy can’t speak English, let alone write it. 比利不会讲英语，更不用说写了。

Tom was hardly walking at the age of four, let alone running. 汤姆4岁时几乎还不会走路，更别说跑了。

I haven’t decided on the menu yet, let alone bought the food. 我还没决定吃什么菜呢，更不必说买好了。

She didn’t even apologize, let alone offer to pay for the damage. 她连道歉都没有，更不用说赔偿损失。

Some people never even read a newspaper, let alone (read) a book. 有的人连报纸都从不看，更不用说看书了。
