2021年高考英语浙江卷的完形填空中的这个句子没有错，而且不能将 made her day 改为 made her gay。make one’s day 是习语，意思是“使某人一天非常开心”：

Thank you for the random act of kindness that not only helped my mother out, but made her day too. 感谢你的随意善举，这不仅帮了我母亲，也让她一天都感到很开心。
