个人觉得这句话中的从句是定语从句，但是实在想不通you前面省略的关系词是什么，如果是关系代词that的话，that又没有在从句中做宾语，为什么可以省略呢，还望老师解答

Do not let yourselves be discouraged or embittered by the smallness of the success （that）you are likely to achieve in trying to make life better.
1. 黑体部分为定语从句，先行词是 success；
2. 关系代词作 achieve 的宾语，故省略。动宾搭配：achieve success（取得成功）。
