如何判断后置定语修饰前面哪个名词

请问老师，在这个句子中，acquired by man as a member of society 是修饰 any other capabilities and habits，还是修饰前面所有的名词belief, art, morals, law, custom, and any other capabilities and habits 呢

acquired by man as a member of society 修饰 any other capabilities and habits。

belief, art, morals, law, custom 这几个名词表达的概念是无须这个定语修饰，是不言而喻的。

应该修饰所有的名词，因为如果仅修饰后面，那么前面的belief, art... 等从逻辑上就成了无源之水，无本之木。再者，作者后面用了any other, 有other 也说明和前面并列的关系。
