请问老师这是对现在的虚拟吗?

可是前面的he mused that..他(过去)若有所思的说..这是表过去啊?

间接引语中的虚拟语气形式是不变的，只是改动人称和时间。例如：

He said, " If it were to rain tomorrow, I would stay at home."

He said that if it were to rain the next day, he would stay at home.
