一篇讨论电影配乐对电影的影响的文章，有这么几句话：

When Luke Skywalker appears on the screen, the music becomes heroic because he is the hero. Darth Vader is the bad guy, so his music is quite dark. Would you think that Luke Skywalker was still a hero without the music? Probably. However, the music makes him even more heroic.

请问中间的这句：Would you think that Luke Skywalker was still a hero without the music? 为什么这里用了was？句子是假设没有音乐，所以句子是使用了虚拟语气吗？是什么结构的虚拟语气呢？

这个句子without the music是含蓄虚拟条件（与过去事实相反），所以主句应该用虚拟语气，would you think就是虚拟语气（错综时间）。也就是说without介词短语是would you think的条件状语，而不是that从句中的条件状语。that从句中的was是陈述语气。
