一道时态选择题（过去进行时与一般过去时的比较）

老师们好，今天做到了一道时态选择题，题目如下：

My pet got injured yesterday, and I ( ) it all the day.

A was attending to B attended to

该题目的参考答案是A,但我觉得 B也没有错吧？很困惑,所以来找老师们请教下！

all day, all the day , all day long 和 all the day long 都可说，表示“全天”的意思。例如：We worked all day. 我们整天工作。（摘自《薄冰英语惯用法词典》p.194）

我觉得网友的题目的答案应该是 B attended to，至少可以说选择 B attended to 也是正确的。
