1 你断句错误。从 in order to sensitize...一直到句末，都是不定式短语作目的状语修饰不定式to associate...。 in general在此为介词短语作定语修饰Khmer people。in general = as a whole.
2 are known to be...的主语为 Khmer people in general。
3 where的先行词为 a living heritage site。即二个where引导的定语从句并列，修饰先行词。
