最近看到一幅图片里有这么一句话,为什么前半句里有两个动词,owe 和are:
No one owes you are your family anything; nor is it the local government's responsibility to support you during trying times like this.
前半句为什么用are, 不是and? 是某种强调句型?
搜下百度就有啦!sic 为“原文如此”。
No one owes you are (sic) your family anything, nor is it the local government's responsibility to support you during trying times like this! (此处市长原文有语病,are 应该改为"or" 或者 "and"。) Sink or swim, it's your choice! The City and County, along with power providers or any other service owes you NOTHING!
